NATIONAL SEMINAR ON SANSKRIT DRAMA
The Samskrita Academy Madras & The Kuppuswami Sastri Research Institute jointly organized a two-day NATIONAL SEMINAR ON SANSKRIT DRAMA. The event was very well received attracting participants from various city colleges and scholars across the country who presented papers on various themes of Sanskrit Drama.

Inter-school Antyakshari Sloka Recitation Competition in Sanskrit
The Institute conducted Inter-school Antyakshari Sloka Recitation Competition in Sanskrit under the Guna Pai Priyamvada Bai Akshara Slokam Endowment. Three students from classes IX - XII from various city schools participated in the competition and made it a great success.

NARASIMHACHARI ENDOWMENT - SANSKRIT RECITATION COMPETITION
Under the Narasimhachari endownment, The Kuppuswami Sastri Research Institute conducted a Sanskrit Sloka recitation Competition on 25th October 2024. Around 40 students from various city schools actively participated in the competition and recited 20 shlokas from either SUBRAMHANYA BHUJANGAM or SAUNDARYA LAHARI.

75th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS - VALEDICTORY FUNCTION
The Kuppuswami Sastri Research Institute is celebrating its 75th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone the Institute organized various National Workshops, Seminars and Lectures on various subjects like Bhakti, Art& Architecture, Sanskrit Literature, Ancient Indian Mathematics and Astronomy.
The Valedictory Function of the 75th Anniversary Celebrations will be celebrated on 13th Sepetember, 2024 at 5.00pm at The Madras Sanskrit College Premises.
Dr. N. Gopalaswami IAS(Retd.) will preside over the function and release the book "ŚEṢASAMHITĀ" and honor the prominent donors.
Dr. S. Ramaratnam , Chancellor, Jagadguru Kripalu University, Odisha will deliver the Valedictory address.

Dr.T.V. Vasudeva (Deputy Director, The KSRI) co-ordinated Sastra prakashika trust endowment programme on " Studies on Rig Veda - Pancha Bhutas (Five Basic Elements)" at The Madras Sanskrit College, Mylapore. In the first session of the programme, He also gave a talk on "Introduction to Rigveda".

SANSKRIT DAY CELEBRATIONS at RAJ BHAVAN
Dr. V.Kameswari (Former Director of the Kuppuswami Sastri Research Institute) was honored with an award by the governor for her distinguished service to the field of Sanskrit and Indological research. The Samskruta Bharati, Tamil Nadu organized a Samskruta Day celebration on August 19 2024 at the Bharatiyar Mandapam at Raj Bhavan, Guindy. Thiru. R.N. Ravi, Governor of Tamil Nadu was the Chief Guest and awarded various Sanskrit scholars and experts for their distinguished services to the field of Sanskrit.
