Exploring Vaidika Mārga in Saṅgam Literature — An Engaging Endowment Lecture at KSRI

The Kuppuswami Sastri Research Institute (KSRI), in collaboration with The Samskrita Academy, Madras, hosted a thought-provoking endowment lecture on “Vaidika Mārga in Saṅgam Literature” on Tuesday, 4 November 2025, at the Sanskrit College Campus, Mylapore, Chennai.

The lecture, delivered by Dr. Vidyuta K., Assistant Professor at KSRI, was held under the auspices of the Dr. P. S. Subrahmanya Sastri Centenary Endowment and the Karlapakkam Raghu Narasimhachari Endowment.

Dr. Vidyuta’s talk illuminated the rich interconnections between Vaidika traditions and Tamil Saṅgam poetry, revealing how spiritual, cultural, and literary currents flowed seamlessly between these two classical streams of Indian thought.

The event drew enthusiastic participation from scholars, students, and lovers of Sanskrit and Tamil literature, both at the venue and online.
