The Kuppuswami Sastri Research Institute (KSRI), in association with The Samskrita Academy, Madras conducted its annual Appayya Deekshita Day  lecture under the SRI K. A. LAKSHMANA SASTRI ENDOWMENT & Mm. Prof. S. KUPPUSWAMI SASTRI MEMORIAL, Dr. V. RAGHAVAN & V. R. RAMAMURTHY ENDOWMENTS.

The lecture was delivered by Dr. R. Mahadevan, Director, Simpson & Co., on the topic “Stotra Granthas of Śrīmad Appayya Dīkṣitendra”.​
