Inter-School Sanskrit Recitation Competition under Sri R. Narasimhachari Endowment

The Kuppuswami Sastri Research Institute (KSRI) conducted an inter-school Sanskrit recitation competition under the Sri R. Narasimhachari Endowment on Saturday, the 6th of September 2025, at 11:00 a.m. The event was held at the Institute premises within the Sanskrit College campus.

Around 35 students from Class IX to Class XII, representing various schools across the city, enthusiastically participated in the competition. The students recited either the first ten ślokas of Śivānandalaharī or the first ten ślokas of the Nārāyaṇīyam (First Daśakam), showcasing commendable proficiency in pronunciation, memorization, and expression.

KSRI extends its sincere thanks to all the participating schools, students, and teachers for their active involvement and support. The Institute also acknowledges the support received under the Sri R. Narasimhachari Endowment, which made this event possible.
