The Kuppuswami Sastri Research Institute (KSRI), in association with The Samskrita Academy, Madras, conducted its annual endowment lecture on 2nd September 2025 (Tuesday) under the joint auspices of the following endowments:

• Dr. M.S. Lakshmi Kumari and Varun Govind Krishna Endowment

• Prof. V. Venkatachalam & Sri T.K. Nagalingam Endowment

• Smt. A.B. Thulasi Endowment

The lecture was delivered by Dr. S. Umapathi, Associate Professor, Department of Sahitya, The Madras Sanskrit College. The talk, titled “Śleṣe Vṛttiḥ”, was presented in Tamil and explored the linguistic aspects of Śleṣa.

The event took place at the Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Hall, within the Sanskrit College campus in Mylapore, Chennai. The lecture began at 3:30 p.m. and was attended by scholars, students, and enthusiasts of Sanskrit and classical Indian literature.

KSRI expresses its gratitude to the endowment donors and all attendees for their continued support and interest in promoting Sanskrit learning and research.
