असतः श्रीमदान्धस्य दारिद्र्यं परमञ्जनम्।
आत्मौपम्येन भूतानि दरिद्रः परमीक्षते॥
Atheists, who are very proud of their wealth, fail to see things as they are. Therefore, making them poor is the suitable ointment to their eyes, so they may see things as they are. At least, a man who is struck by poverty can realise how painful it is, therefore, will not want others to be in a painful condition like his own.

Session IV - Other Deities - K.A. Lakshmana Sastri Endowment, Smt. Balambal Memorial Endowment and T.V. Nagaraja Iyer Endowment, Dr. T.N. Aravamudan, Former Principal, Rajah's College, Thiruvaiyaru Chaired the session.

Session III - Śākta and others Subhadra Memorial Endowment and Bhagirati Ammal Endowment, Dr. T.V. Vasudeva, Deputy Director of the KSRI Chaired the session.

Session II - Śaiva under Sri Ramakrishna Iyer Memorial Endowment and Sri Anna Subrahmania Iyer Centenary Endowment, Dr. G. Suresh, Asst. Prof. of Sāhitya, The Madras Sanskrit College, Chaired the session.

Lectures on the Ramayana by Rt. Hon. V.S. Srinivasa Sastri, published by The Samskrita Academy, are reprinted in connection with the commemoration of Pranapratishtha of Sri Rama at Ayodhya. As a Part of the 75th Anniversary, The KSRI conducted a "National Seminar on Bhakti Literature In Sanskrit and Tamil" on 24th and 25th of November 2023 in collaboration with The Samskrita Academy, Madras. Dr. R. K. Raghavan, President of the KSRI delivered the Welcome address. Prof. C. R. Anantharaman, Former Prof. of Sanskrit, Vivekananda College, Tiruvedagam, Madurai recieved the Kombur Ramabhadran Cash Award and delivered the inaugural address on 24th November 2023 .

The Department of Physical Education, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Tiruvarur, organized a "National Workshop cum Lecture Series on Yoga". Dr. K. S. Balasubramanian, Director of the KSRI, Delivered a talk on "Sahaj Marg System of Raja Yoga" on August 29, 2023

As a part of the 75th anniversary, the KSRI will be conducting a two-day "National Seminar on Bhakti Literature in Sanskrit and Tamil" on November 24–25, 2023, in collaboration with the Samskrita Academy, Madras.

The Department of Sanskrit at Ethiraj College for Women, Chennai, organized a guest lecture on Bhaktiyoga of Bhagavadgita on October 10, 2023. Dr. K. S. Balasubramainan, Director of the KSRI, gave a talk on the same.

Sri Vishnu Mohan Foundation, in association with Sunanda Trust, Chennai, has organized a seminar on "Pancha Bhutha" on September 29, 2023. Dr. K. S. Balasubramanian, Director of KSRI, delivered a lecture on "Panchabhuta - Vāyu" and Dr. T. V. Vasudeva, Deputy Director of KSRI, delivered a lecture on "Panchabhuta-Akasa".

The Department of History, School of Social Sciences & International Studies, Pondicherry University, Puducherry, organized an international seminar on "Tantric Religion: Philosophy, Literature, Cults, Arts, History, and Continuities" . Dr. T.V.V. Vasudeva, the Deputy Director of KSRI, chaired Session 5: Tantric, Cults, Traditions, and Practices and delivered a lecture on 'Tantric aspects in Vedic rituals' on September 26, 2023. This event has been sponsored by the Shripuram Trust, Kerala, the Sri Aurobindo Centre for Advanced Research in Puducherry, and the Ministry of Culture.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan unveiled the 108-foot-tall ‘Statue of Oneness' of Adi Shankaracharya at Omkareshwar in the poll-bound on September 21. For this grand event, various institutions were invited from across India. Dr. K. Balasubramanin, Director of the KSRI, attended the same.

Modern Senior Secondary School, Nanganallur Organised a Guest lecture on the occasion of Teachers Day on 5th September 2023. Dr. V. Yamuna Devi, Deputy Director of The KSRI, Presided as the Chief guest and also delivered a talk on "Teacher student relationship and cultural values"

Valedictory function of the two day National Seminar on Arts and Architecture was held on 22nd August 2023 at 3.00 pm. Dr. C. S. Radhakrishnan, former Professor of Sanskrit, Central University, Puducherry delivered the Valedictory address under Prof. V. Venkatachalam Endowment.

Session III - Arts under Sundaram Saraswati, N.V. Raghavan and P.K. Subramania Iyer Endowments. Dr. V. Kameswari, Former Director, The KSRI, Chennai Chaired the session. The following scholars presented their Papers:
1. Dr. R. Thyagarajan – Ratna Śāstra (Gemology)
2. Dr. S. Venugopal – Sāmudrikā Lakṣaṇam
3. Dr. V. Yamuna Devi – Dhātukalā - Metallurgy and Alloy making
4. Dr. P.C. Muralidharan – Sowing of seeds as gleaned from Kr̥ṣi Parāśara 5. Dr. S. Murali – Śakuna Śāstra (Omens)

Session II - Arts under Dr. M. Narasimhachari Memorial Endowment, Sri. Venkatanarayana Iyer and Smt. Sundarambal Endowments. Dr. R. Thyagarajan Former Prof. & Head, Dept. of Sanskrit, Presidency College, Chennai Chaired the session. The following scholars presented their Papers:
1. Dr. Padmaja Suresh – Bharatanāṭyam as a ritual
2. Dr. T.V. Vasudeva – Mallavidyā (Wrestling)
3. Dr. Abhiramasundari – Musicology and Practicing Music
4. Dr. S. Umapathi – Prahelikā (Puzzles and Brain Teasers)

Session I - Architecture under Dr. S. S. Janaki & P. Venkatesa Deksitar Endowments. Dr. Arunasundaram, Principal i/c, The Madras Sanskrit College, Chennai Chaired the session. The following scholars presented their Papers:
1. Sri. Madhusudanan Kalaiselvan – Development of Column Orders Pallava and Chola
2. Dr. Ramadevi Sekhar – Cosmic plan in Micro-scale Hindu Temple
3. Dr. Vasumati Rajaram – Some Aspects of Town Planning in Ancient India
4. Dr. K. Vidyuta – Architecture and the Mind

Satyamurthy, Former Superintending Archaeologist, ASI, Chennai, delivered the inaugural address on 21st Augutst 2023 .

On 21st of July 2023, Scholars of KSRI participated and presented Research articles at the International Seminar on "Samskrita Vangmaye Yogah" organised by the Department of Snaskrit, Sri Sankara Arts and Science College, Enathur, Kanchipuram sponsored by ICPR, New Delhi.
